Aims and Objective

In today’s competitive corporate landscape, mastering the English language and critical thinking is essential for effective communication on national and international levels. The Department of English prepares our male and female students for success by equipping them with the skills necessary for articulate communication across diverse forums. We foster self-confidence and creativity through comparative literature studies, enhancing their oratorical and presentation abilities. By enabling students to appreciate various literary genres, we empower them to think critically and express themselves independently in English.  

Eligibility Criteria

The BS English program is a four-year degree program comprising eight semesters, offering a total of 135 credit hours. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have completed their F.A./F.Sc. or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 45% marks. Additionally, applicants must achieve at least 40% on the NAT or pass a relevant criteria test as determined by the university. This ensures that students are adequately prepared for the academic challenges of the program

(Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical), ICS, A-Level, or an equivalent qualification to be eligible for admission. This ensures that students possess a solid foundation in relevant subjects necessary for success in the program. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in technology and computer science. Meeting these criteria will prepare students for the academic challenges ahead.
